Manoeuvring and Warning Signals.
Key. _   Short blast (fog horn).     _____   Long blast.
_ The signal made by a vessel intending to turn to the starboard.
_ _ The signal made by a vessel intending to turn to the port.
_ _ _ The signal made by a vessel running engines in reverse, i.e. Slowing down or reversing.
_ _ _ _ _ Five or more short blasts, means: "What are your intensions?"
_____ _____ _ The signal made by a vessel wishing to overtake to the starboard side in a narrow channel.
_____ _____ _ _ The signal made by a vessel wishing to overtake to the port side in a narrow channel.
_____ _ _____ _ The signal made by the leading vessel agreeing to be overtaken.
_____ The signal made as a warning when approaching a blind bend.

_____ The signal made by a vessel when making way under power. At two minute intervals.
_____ _____ The signal made by a vessel underway. At two minute intervals.
_____ Signal made by a vessel at anchor (under 100m). Towards the bow of the vessel. At one minute intervals.
_____ _ Signal made by a vessel at anchor, (over 100m). The bell, towards the bow of the vessel and the gong towards the stern. At one minute intervals
_ _ _ _____ _ _ _ Signal made by a vessel aground, (under 100m). At the bow of the vessel. At one minute intervals.
_ _ _ _____ _ _ _ _ Signal made by a vessel aground, (over 100m). The bells, towards the bow of the vessel and the gong towards the stern. At one minute intervals.
_____ _ _ _ _ The signal made by a pilot boat on duty. At two minute intervals
